SurePoint Ag Systems, a Joint Venture partner of John Deere Precision Upgrades, has secured the rights to produce planter attachment products previously manufactured by Dawn Equipment Company. SurePoint has been the leading developer of application systems for planters and air seeders. Adding ground-engaging attachments expands SurePoint’s offering of precision upgrades.
Beginning June 2023, GFX hydraulically controlled floating row cleaners will be available from SurePoint Ag. Curvetine, Gaugetine and Gauge Ring closing wheels will be available late summer 2023.
SurePoint is committed to continued development of planter attachment products. GFX Hydraulic Row Cleaners will feature ISOBUS control via SurePoint’s Reflex ISOBUS control platform, eliminating additional control boxes and harnessing in the cab.
Additional development of the Reflex technologies continues, including Row Unit Suspension (Hydraulic Down and Up Force), Active Depth Control (ADS) and Automatic Closing System (ACS). Market release of these technologies is planned for futures years.
