Matt Micek

Matt has worked at SurePoint Ag since 2016. He began as the Inside Sales Representative for the Corn Belt, and since then, has been promoted to the Inside Sales Manager. Prior to joining the SurePoint team, Matt taught industrial arts for 12 years and dabbled in farming. Matt enjoys the atmosphere at SurePoint and feels the team is loaded with quality talent, which makes for a fun and energetic atmosphere. He also likes the creative stress relief SurePoint offers, such as retiring an old printer via sledgehammer.

Matt was raised on a family farm north of Atwood, where he learned the trade from his dad and grandpa. After graduating from Atwood High School, Matt attended Fort Hays State University. He and his wife, Melissa, have five children (Kenneth, Abby, Samantha, Ryan, and Anthony). In his free time, you can find him chasing around his kiddos, tinkering in his shop, singing karaoke, and butchering his own meat.
