Laython Ford

Laython started with SurePoint Ag in 2023 and will be working as the Territory Manager of Western Canada and will develop additional provinces in the area. Laython has a diverse work history, starting as a journeyman after receiving his certification post-high school. Before joining our team, he worked as a Territory Manager for Brandt Manufacturing and Intelligent Ag. He also has working experience with Vantage Canada and the startup industry.

Laython grew up on a farm in Irma, Alberta, a small ag and oil field community. His family had a diverse range of livestock including dairy, purebred Simmentals, goats, and ostriches (yes, ostriches!). The farm is now a mixed operation with 1,200 acres of cropland, 80 purebred Simmentals and Charolais, and a custom feedlot. He and his wife, Kayley, are proud parents to their four daughters: Lennon, Remi, Piper, and Reid. They stay busy with activities including dance, skiing, and Girl Guides. When they’re not at activities or on the farm, they enjoy skiing in the winter and spending time on the boat during the summer. A family favorite is spending summer break in Northern Ontario at Laython’s in-laws’ place.
