Bernie Schmid

Bernie joined the SurePoint team as an inside support specialist in 2022. Before coming to SurePoint, he had worked for a Case dealership, dairy, trucking company and radio and TV stations. Bernie has also spent time working in construction and appliance repair. Bernie graduated from Colby High School in 1981 and Northwest Technical College in 1982. He also holds an Associates in Applied Science from Colby Community College.

Bernie has been married longer than he can remember and has four beautiful daughters, so problem solving in stressful situations is his specialty! He has been blessed with seven grandchildren. In his free time, he enjoys watching his grandchildren grow, as well as hunting, fishing, and golfing when he has time. It is Bernie’s personal goal to make at least one person smile each day, as it brightens their day and helps him to be a better person.
