Albert Popp
Engineering Manager
Albert has served as a Chief Engineer since 2011. He enjoys the challenges of designing novel solutions for precision agriculture. Albert enjoys utilizing existing technology to solve problems, as well as developing innovative solutions from the ground up.
Albert grew up on a farm between Hill City and Hoxie in Northwest Kansas. He graduated high school from Hoxie and went on to get his engineering degree from Kansas State University. Albert was an industrial control engineer at Micro-Comm before coming to SurePoint.
Albert and his wife, Jenny, live in Atwood. They have very little free time as their lives revolve around following their boys as they compete in a variety of high school athletics. Albert is slowly restoring a 78 Camaro and he occasionally dabbles in metal frogging.
