SUREPOINT
Advancing Precision Agriculture Since 2007
Founded in 2007, SurePoint™ Ag Systems helps producers farm more efficiently through innovative precision agriculture solutions.

Company History
Built on innovation, growth, and a commitment to helping producers succeed.

2007
The Beginning
In August of 2007, SurePoint™ Ag Systems was founded by Blaine Ginther, Josh Wolters, and Matt Wolters. At the time, ag technology was on the rise, and with it, came the opportunity to help producers more precisely apply their chosen field inputs. SurePoint was created to aid producers with the technology they needed to apply the right product, in the right place, at the perfect rate.

2008–2013
Building a Foundation
By 2008, SurePoint™ had seven full and part-time employees. The warehouse was a 1950s steel building and the office was in a 1930s farmhouse located on the same farmstead. As SurePoint began building relationships with customers, they saw tremendous growth within five years. In 2011, they moved into a new warehouse and in the spring of 2012, they moved their office space as well. The engineering team crew and occupied the original 5000 square-foot building that was the original warehouse.

2014–2021
Product Innovation
Since 2014, SurePoint™ Ag has released six products for their producers. Many of SurePoint’s products have been designed to be foundational technologies that can be built upon. The QuickDraw™ automated spray tender system quickly became a core product after its release in 2014. In the same year, LiquiShift® was introduced. In 2016, Marksman™ was launched and the following year, Sentinel™ ISOBUS Liquid Row Monitoring was released. Following the Sentinel launch, two new products came along, Sentinel™ Rate Control (2020), and Sentinel™ Row Control (2021).

2022–2023
Growth & Expansion
Over the years, SurePoint™ has continued to grow, introduce new technology, and become a name known in the ag industry. In 2022, SurePoint Ag Systems joined John Deere in a joint venture. Since its inception, SurePoint Ag has been focused on ag innovation and adding technology that helps producers boost efficiency and effectiveness, making them a great partner for John Deere. Later that year, the SurePoint Innovation Center was opened in Manhattan, Kansas near the KSU campus to further expand the engineering, software development, and product support departments. In October 2023, SurePoint was recognized by the Kansas Department of Commerce with the Innovation in Agriculture Award for its continued commitment to advancing agricultural technology. Later that year, the company launched the Planter Technology Upgrades product line, including GFX Hydraulic Row Cleaners, RFX Row Unit Down Force, and MVX Electric Seed Meter, further expanding the performance upgrade options available through SurePoint's network of dealers.

2024-Present
SurePoint Today
In 2024 Deere acquired 100% ownership of SurePoint™. In December 2025, SurePoint Ag Systems celebrated the grand opening of a new Sales & Production Center at their campus in Atwood, Kansas expanding their operational capabilities many times over. As of 2026, SurePoint Ag Systems and its sister company SurePoint Electronics employ over 135 full-time, seasonal, and internship positions between their two offices and remote team members around the country. SurePoint Ag Systems ships products all across North America, as well as internationally.
