Row Monitoring and Rate Control
Eliminate Skips, Overlaps, and Guesswork in Every Application
Monitor every row, maintain accurate fertilizer application, and catch problems before they cost you yield. Sentinel gives growers real-time visibility and control across their application system.

What is Sentinel™
Sentinel™ is a buildable rate control platform designed for liquid, dry, and NH3 systems. It gives operators real-time visibility into fertilizer application across the toolbar. By monitoring flow, rate, and system performance, Sentinel™ helps identify issues early, maintain accurate application, and keep every row performing as expected.
Key Benefits
-
Visibility across every row and system
-
Real-time diagnostics to identify issues quickly
-
Accurate, consistent product application
-
In-cab control through existing displays
-
Buildable features catered to your operation
Complete Visibility and Control
Sentinel™ systems provide real-time row monitoring, precision control, and system diagnostics. With additional capabilities available as you upgrade from Row Monitoring to Full System Control.
Two Sentinel™ Controller Options
Controllers are selected based on your system configuration, whether you’re running Row Monitoring, Rate Control, or Full Row Control. Compare options below to find the right fit.
Put More Bushels in the Bin
Sentinel™ identifies issues across the toolbar in real time, allowing operators to correct problems early and prevent hidden yield loss.
What is the cost of NOT knowing?
In field testing, Sentinel detected a 17–19% reduction on one row of a 24-row planter caused by a system restriction. Without row-level monitoring, the issue would have gone unnoticed.
What the Study Showed
-
Total acres planted: 3,000 acres
-
Acres affected by one row: 125 acres
-
Yield goal: 140 bushels per acre
-
Yield loss on restricted row: 26.6 bushels per acre
-
Total lost bushels: 3,325 bushels
-
Lost revenue: $14,130
Cost of Sentinel Row Monitoring for 24-Row Planter - $16,750
A single undetected issue can quickly offset the cost of adding a monitoring system.

Engineered for Reliable Performance
Built to deliver accurate, consistent application across across liquid, dry, and NH3 systems.

Superior Accuracy
SurePoint testing shows Sentinel™ delivers highly accurate row-to-row application across the toolbar. Analysis of 50,000+ data points found row-to-row variation remained below 4.6% over 95% of the time, with an average CV of 3.9%, helping ensure consistent product placement and performance.

385% Larger Passageway
Sentinel systems require only a 20 mesh strainer, providing significantly larger passageways and greater open area than traditional systems. This reduces plugging and minimizes maintenance. • Detects partial flow reductions, not just complete blockages • Identifies rows running over or under target rate • Displays flow in GPM and GPA for clear system insight • Alerts operators quickly when application is out of range

No Moving Parts
Sentinel™ uses E-Mag flow meter technology on every row, delivering accurate measurement without calibration or moving components. This design eliminates wear points and reduces the risk of plugging or failure, providing long-term reliability compared to traditional mechanical systems.

LiquiShift® Integration
Sentinel integrates with SurePoint LiquiShift®, allowing operators to monitor system pressure, adjust shift points, and automatically switch between metering tubes directly from the cab. On-screen data provides visibility into pump performance and active metering configuration.
