    The SurePoint Ag and SurePoint Electronics Purchasing team is responsible for working with a couple hundred vendors. This includes analyzing sales trends and proposing purchase quantities to review with the management team. The purchasing agents then place purchase orders and track product shipments to make sure delivery dates are met. SurePoint purchasing is an active team that requires people who can anticipate problems, are great communicators, and willing to go the extra mile to get the products SurePoint needs.   • Mechanical Engineer
    SurePoint mechanical engineers design the brackets, tanks, pumps, fluid components and more for fertilizer application systems. In addition, they design complete products such as the QuickDraw (spray tender) and Marksman (Irrigation Injection). Our engineers go to the field and help verify their designs work as expected. SurePoint products are added to many planters and other equipment; our engineers must be flexible and able to react quickly when changes happen beyond our control.     SurePoint electrical and computer engineers create the software and electronic systems for our components. This includes C, C++ embedded programming for control systems. Android and IOS programming is used for smart phone and tablet apps that communicate with SurePoint products.   • Test Engineer
    SurePoint engineering is growing and needs to formalize many testing procedures. The test engineer will verify SurePoint software products are functioning correctly, which requires the verification that dozens of options are all working and can be used together and/or independently as field configurations are never all the same. This person will spend time in the field working with dealers and customers as they evaluate beta release of products. They will also be expected to help provide troubleshooting and teach dealers and customers how to best use SurePoint products.     SurePoint web developers will design the SurePoint web applications needed for communication with SurePoint products such as QuickDraw and Marksman.   • Product Specialist and Technical Writer
    SurePoint Product Specialist and Technical Writer is expected to learn and become an expert on SurePoint products. This requires a technical background to understand and dig into details of how the system works and then diagnose any problem a customer has. This person will handle customer calls directly and also act as second level support to assist the sales and service team with difficult issues. As a technical writer this person will create the content and assemble product manuals, technical bulletins and other written material.   • Controller Room Technician
    SurePoint Ag's sister company, SurePoint Electronics, is seeking a Controller Room Technician. This individual is responsible for the final assembly, programming, troubleshooting, and commissioning of electronic control devices. To accomplish that, they must be able to read and comprehend detailed instructions and follow established procedures. The role includes collecting materials and equipment needed to begin the process, reporting issues or malfunctions to the supervisor, performing quality checks on all devices before shipping to the customer, and aligning material and combining parts to build more complex units. Interested candidates should be able to read schematics, wiring diagrams, drawings, etc. Preference will be given to candidates with a 2-year technical associate's degree, but a high school diploma is the minimum requirement. Knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office is essential. Successful candidate will have good communication skills, be able to listen to verbal instructions, and be willing to work 8 hours on repetitive tasks while sitting or standing for long periods of time.
